| Selected Images from “Bedlam” Studying the odd nooks and corners of the mind is unfolded through large painted portraits. The starting point is one’s own delirious images in which the mirroring of the shadowy side takes place. Here the “I” meets the “Me“ and the hidden, the locked-ins that under normal conditions cannot escape. The confined that “I” dread facing, fight to prevent their disclosure and their assuming of power – well knowing that exactly here at this meeting point the enthralling poetry emerges and is caught in the paradoxical absurd, and magic just to be lost in matter-of-factly everyday control. |
