Cocoons: Butterflies - like living flowers – attractive and revolting at the same time. The Greek word for butterfly is Psyche (i.e. soul). We collect these holsters of departed souls. The ceramic wall objects – the cocoons – are meant to be containers for secret things. Only a woman’s hand can go inside. It is the secret holster that keeps and nourishes the dead. The ceramics have been produced in collaboration with Kähler’s Ceramic Factory |
